Services Aftercare

• Do not touch or rub your eyebrows immediately after the treatment.
• If redness or irritation occurs, apply a cool damp cotton compress to the eye area. If symptoms persist for more than 24 hours, seek medical advice.
• The effects of the tint will start to diminish within 2-3 weeks as hair grows out and the tint color fades. Strong sunlight/UV light can make the tint color fade faster.
• Avoid washing your eyebrows, or swimming for 24 hours, as these activities can cause the tint results to fade. Also avoid exfoliating facial cleansers. Those containing AHA's or other chemical exfoliates may decrease the life of your tint. A gentle facial cleanser or eye makeup remover is recommended.
• Do not apply makeup or brow gel to eyebrows for at least 24 hours after the brow wax or brow tinting treatment.
• Try to use oil-free facial products around the brow area to prolong the tint color.
• You can receive the brow tinting treatment every 2 weeks minimum.

BMB Microdermabrasion Aftercare

• Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds to treated areas after treatment (we recommend this indefinitely). Daily sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 is vital to maintain your improved skin.
• Avoid any irritants to your skin, such as any products containing Retin-A, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, astringents or Vitamin C for one week after your treatment.
• Do not wax, tweeze or use a depilatory to the treated areas for 1 week after your treatment.
• It you receive Collagen treatments, these may be resumed 24 hours after treatment.
• If you receive Glycolic Peels, these may be resumed one week after your treatment.
• If you do not need make-up for the evening of treatment, wait until the next morning.
• Approximately 48 hours after treatment, your skin may start to peel. This peeling will generally last 2 to 3 days. DO NOT PICK OR PULL THE SKIN.

BMB Dermaplaning Aftercare

• You may experience slight redness and swelling, which should resolve within 24 hours.
• Mineral make-up can be worn immediately following treatment.
• Avoid heat, saunas, hot tubs and sweaty activity for 24 hours; this includes exercise of any kind.
• Avoid products containing any exfoliating agents (retinoic acid, retinol, tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, astringents, etc.) for 24 hours after treatment.
• You may resume your regular skin care routine 24 hours after treatment.

BMB Brow Lamination Aftercare

What should and should not be done 24 hours post treatment for longevity of results:

• Keep brows dry for 24 hours.
• Moisturize your brows daily.
• Do not apply make-up or undertake further eye treatments for at least 24 hours after your treatment.
• Avoid swimming/sauna/working out for 24-48 hours. Any excess moisture after this time can cause a slight curl/frizz to the brow hair.
• Do not allow prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat.
• Do not apply Retina-A, AHA or exfoliate around the brow area for 72 hours either side of the treatment.
• No self-tanning products should be used on the face for one week prior and 48 hours after treatment.
